Previous career stages:
After completing his business studies in 1985 he held various management positions, including CIO and managing director at medium-sized companies in the fields of mechanical engineering, high-tech and medical technology.
He has extensive international experience in the fields of corporate management, restructuring and process engineering. His expertise is based on many years of consulting activity and extends from holistic digitization consulting to SAP system architecture. In his position as Managing Director, he is significantly responsible for business development and leads the 120 employees of Advanced Applications with the authorized officers, Guido Berndt and Mathias Fischer.

Previous career stages:
Mathias Fischer studied mechanical engineering and, upon graduation in 1997, took over project management for the introduction of SAP R/3 at an international mechanical engineering company. Through this experience, he was subsequently able to expand his expertise in logistics in implementation and training projects across a wide range of industries and build up a broad network. This resulted in the foundation of iXLOG Unternehmensberatung GmbH in 1999. As co-managing director, he developed iXLOG from an SAP consultancy to a specialist in the field of process automation and digitalization. With the integration at Advanced Applications in April 2021, he took over the business unit Products. He is responsible for the further expansion of the Advanced Applications product portfolio and supports customers to sustainably pursue their digitization strategy with SAP in order to increase the efficiency of business processes and to increase transparency as a basis for optimized decisions.

Previous career stages:
Guido Berndt studied sociology, politics and statistics (M.A.) at the University of Konstanz. After graduating in 1998, he was SAP Basis Administrator and Project Manager at various well-known companies (large service providers, insurance companies, public utilities) from 2000 to 2008. He joined Advanced Applications in 2008 and was initially responsible for SAP Basis and since April 2019 for the entire Hosting/Data Center Operation and Support division. In his role as data center manager, he is responsible for leading the transition from an on-premise hoster to an open multi-cloud provider. He is responsible for the stable and future-proof expansion of technical operations and for opening all doors to new IT operating platforms for our customers.
